Timo’s rocket launching at the end of the workshops. It attracted many additional students who joined the workshop learners and all helped to get the rockets back. Learners attending the workshop based on recommendations by previous participants. Parents and educators eagerly participated in the launching process and discussed how they will continue building on their rocket making skills at home and schools.
A large percentage of learners attending the workshop were between the ages of 15 to 18 years. The female learners were impressed by their ability to built pop rockets using A4 white paper and a cardboard cylinder. When launching the pop rockets they enthusiastically commented on the height the pop rockets flew using a simple air launching system.
We were overbooked due to the popularity of the workshop.
