National Science Week Intercultural Visit

 The aim of the intercultural exchange programme was be three fold. Firstly to introduce learners and educators to cultural astronomical myths, beyond the Southern Skies. This was be achieved through the use shadow puppetry and many different ways of storytelling. Secondly it allowed learners to draw their own conclusions about the differences and similarities of different cultures and to conclude that we are all global citizens of this world. Finally to workshop educators on the effective use of puppetry, storytelling and creativity in the classroom, in the teaching of space science.
